To prevent the transmission and exposure to Covid-19 people need to continue to wear masks, wash their hands, practice social distancing, stay home when they are sick even with mild symptoms for example sinus congestion.    Many positive cases upon interview state “having mild symptoms or thought they had allergies.”      If a person in household becomes sick they should self isolate from other family members to prevent transmission

To date Delaware County Public Health has vaccinated 2,201 people.

Vaccine has become more readily available and there are more vaccination clinics open to ALL who are eligible.  We encourage all people who are eligible to get vaccinated at ANY available location.

Beginning March 30th at 8am, all New Yorkers age 30+ will be eligible to schedule and receive the vaccines.

Starting Tuesday, April 6 at 8am, all New Yorkers age 16+ will be eligible to schedule and receive the COVID-19 vaccines.
